Feature:
This case does provide adequate protection. It is what I want in an instrument case; room for my instrument, which is an 1969 Fender Mustang. It has locks, which are really pointless, unless you want to keep incriminating notes (i.e., blackbooks and girls' telephone numbers) locked up. If someone wants to steal an instrument, he could still grab the case and break it open later.
Quality:
It's well made, but it is overpriced.
Desirability:
Who really cares what a case looks like?
Ease of Use:
It doesn't make any creaky noise when it's open and closed.
Overall:
I used to have a Fender case, but it fell apart after about 20 years of ownership. The handle broke and ten one night, as I was carrying it, the end of the case just broke open. It was probably about 26 years old. I still expect a wooden case to hold up better than it did.
